The lie he told over and over that keeps bugging me is where he lied about which girl wet the bed the night of the murders. I have NEVER been able to figure out any valid-sounding reason why he would like about this.

I also wonder if he was telling the truth -- in that he found Kris in the wet bed but Kim had wet it earlier and Colette put Kim back in her bedroom. So Mac found Kris in the wet bed but it was Kim who wet it. Because Kim was hit by the door to the master bedroom she might have been coming into the master bedroom from her own bedroom. If she was in the bed when the fight started then it is possible that she would have been hit when she was standing closer to the bed. I get the impression that Kim walked in on the fight but was not there for the start of the fight which would have been the case if she had been in the bed.

That would support the idea that Kim wet the bed and Colette changed Kim and then returned her to her bed. I think that if the fight had happened when Colette was getting ready for bed that Mac would have called earlier than he didI think they argued before Colette went to bed and Mac fell asleep on the couch because he was mad and didn't want to be in bed with her. When he woke up and went to bed he found the bed was wet and the anger from the earlier fight was ignited.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, he can wash those hands until the skin falls off but the blood will remain.
